Collecting books and toys from the Annie MG Schmidt School in Arnhem

Green Kids continued its amazing work in providing educational materials for refugees in Kurdistan. The organisation joined forces with the Annie MG Schmidt School in Presikhaaf, Arnehm – a children’s school and education centre in The Netherlands.

Generous children attending the school offered up donations of books and toys, giving up their own belongings so that refugee children in Kurdistan could use them.

Green Kids went along to the school for a day of education, and collected plenty of inventory for the new mini library to open in one of the refugee camps in Kurdistan.

The new mini library in Hewler will open soon – the second mini library to open in one of the refugee camps there.

When it’s open, it will be available for children to read and play.

Green Kids is so grateful to the school, children, teachers and head for getting involved in the collection, and to TV Gelderland for supporting and reporting on the great cause.
